A jealous husband has left a lasting and heartless mark on his family after he did a most unthinkable thing over suspicions that his wife was cheating on him.
A man identified as Gerald Gandari has left his community in shock after he decided to take revenge on his alleged cheating wife in a most unbelievable fashion.
According to New Zimbabwe, the man was suspecting the wife of cheating on him with another man. When he confronted the wife, she denied it leading to a serious quarrel. The man woke up in the midnight and took an axe after locking the wife in the room, he went to his kids' room and began axing them.
On hearing their cries, their mother woke up, but the door was locked. The man who had wanted to kill his own children set the house ablaze after as the wife managed to escape to their neighbour's house. After that, he ran away.
Police were called to the scene. The injured children were admitted at Rusape district hospital where they are battling for their lives.
Deputy Manicaland police spokesperson, Assistant Inspector Luxson Chananda said Gerald Gandari, 42, from Zambe village in Zimbabwe under Chief Makoni who recently fled from his homestead after he axed his first born daughter three times and the second born twice with an axe before setting all his huts on fire was found dead.
Police said Gandari’s body was found by Elisha Magoni, 65, hanging from a tree in his garden. He committed suicide.
